I’ve done this trail, but instead of leaving so far from Agia Marina, I chose to start from Agia Marina and going under A90(E65) at the road which is between Olympiakos Villa and Anna’s family apartment. This way, I was going at a much steeper way on my way to the lake, but the scenery was stunning. The entire coast at your hand. And this route, trust MAPS.ME, later (but before you get to the lake) reunites with what ‘chrisrun’ suggests. Amazing cafe at the lake with loads of space, outside area AND a pool! Tip - have also google maps ready, a couple of times the map doesn’t show that there are two paths to go and you need to choose one. Great route overall.
