Mountains transform when covered in snow. And this time was no exception.
Firstly, we had to leave the truck parked 1 km before the parking lot because the road was "impassable" because of the snow.
Already on the walk, we struggled a bit to find the paths, but without major complications. On the contrary, the snow offered a unique spectacle.
This tour only included visiting the lakes "Round Top Lake" and "Winnemucca Lake", which looked frozen.
The temperature was between -1 and -10 centigrade. And the gusts of wind lowered the wind chill even more.
This route is highly recommended.
