Itinerary description
Long but mainly flat loop around lake Rotoiti; sometimes you can make the track shorter by crossing the main river but, in our case, the river level was high so we had to take the swing bridge. However, we had to cross some parts of the river due to river flow increased (it was unexpected). Be prepared for river crossings, just in case.
We slept in Coldwater Hut, with great views of the Lake.
