Itinerary description
Hike on the Pequena Rota 7 in Serra da Estrela. The trail is not always easy to find and partly overgrown. Non the less a very nice round tour with beautiful views of the glacial valley and the highest peaks of continental Portugal.

Trail run, was hard to find the trail is some spots, but hikers left piles of stones to mark the way, which helped. Also, using wikiloc navigation helped.

We chose this trail for a short hike in the afternoon. In the beginning we weren't sure where to go and it helped to just follow the wikiloc navigation, also there is a lot of stone towers on the way (really great and useful habit here!). The views from Poios Brancos and at the second part of the trail of the valley and Manteigas town were stunning. I can only recommend.
