Itinerary description

Start at Chäppeliberg, where an airy cable car takes you up to Spilau. Follow the signpost pointing to Spilauersee. This mountainlake lies at about 1800m and is a great place for a break and swim. Some 100m before the lake, a narrow (almost unvisible) path connects with the trail that leads up to the Rossstock. Once on the white-red-white track, follow the trail up to the summit. Descent to the crossing from where a steep rock section of ca 15m has to be climbed down, which is not difficult as there is a cable to hold on to. From the bottom of the rocks, follow the trail underneath the Fülen mountain, towards the Chaiserstock. There are great spots to pitch your tent. No running water.
