Itinerary description
Park opposite the arch, just west of Rookhope. Easy to follow riverside path (old railway) into Rookhope, then long steady climb up Boltslaw incline; broad track well marked as cycle route. 15 min past old engine houses at summit, look for a path by sheep pen, left through the heather. Bit indistinct, aim for top RH corner of moor where fences meet. Good lunch spot by cairn on Bolt's Law peak, great views. Easy to find path with more great views north, then quiet road, back to car.
