Itinerary description
In essence this is a hike in the woods in the triangle between Vorden, Lochem and Almen.
Even on a hot summer day in June this was a pleasure due to the shade during the walk.
This is a great area and especially the vast rhododendron area not far from from the start of the trail is amazing, with its different colours ranging from purple to red, orange and yellow.
(Obviously not all at the same time, but still.)
Credit where credit is due:
this hike is a slight variation on the 17.5 km white signposted trail offered by Natuurmonumenten.
We took a a right turn at a junction that was signposted as Knooppunt 82 of Fietsroutenetwerk, to take a shortcut via Heijendaalseweg and then return to the signposted trail via Enzerinckseweg.
All in all, recommendable.
