This is not exactly how we walked .. maybe due to a recent Wikiloc-beta.. regarding our return from la Dole. We did go from St.-Cergues due west, took a left, then a right at Vuarne and turned left for the final ascent to la Dole. However, then continued straight and looped back passing le Chalet de la Dole and further on to la Barillette from where we went straight downhill through the forest to Ganging/Florettaz. That part is much longer than it seems, there is no pathway straight down. Left St.-Cergues at 11.00, arriving Ganging 19.00. This was our first walk ever > 3 hrs and ? 60 m altitude gain..
