Itinerary description
A circular walk across a magnificent area, national park Dwingelderveld. A great diversity of hiking options here, this is just one that we liked, trying to include the different landscapes and highlights of the area.
This is so-called wet moorland, and wet it was ! Still, every path/track was manageable for people with hiking boots.
As this was a cloudy day the pictures are not as spectacular as they could be on a sunny day.
All in all, an area highly recommended to explore, this one from an easily accessible carpark called Natuurpoort Spier with lots of parking space, and some catering.
