Itinerary description
From Ronda centro walk towards barrio San Francisco, follow Calle Marbella SE towards Urb. Las Quinientas. Follow Urb. La Planilla under the bridge onto a farm track that leads into a dirt foot track/senda. Follow the river towards the Quarry. The Wikiloc I was following indicates I could cross the Quarry, however there was an explicit sign that said passing was prohibited. There was active machinery in the Quarry, and it appeared inappropriate and possibly dangerous to pass the working site. So I climbed to the small peak, which has incredible views and some friendly goats, and while it got the heart rate up, was not difficult to walk through the rocks. Worth the effort!
Walked back the way I came without the loop to La Ventilla as the original walk suggested, but very happy to.
