A beautiful excursion to do from Andalsnes. Of the best in the area.
The route is not circular, but as if it were, because the transport issue is easily solved. From Andalsnes a specific bus leaves daily to make this route that leaves you in Vengedal, just where you have to start walking. The bus is picked up at the train / bus station at 9:30, and the ticket is bought there or online (visitandalsnes.com). The day we did it we found a huge queue. We went half an hour early and it was a bit stressful. Either you arrive earlier or you buy better online. The truth is that then there was no transportation problem. There were many people, but they sell the tickets equally, and they do not leave anyone on the ground. They put up three buses to take everyone. That is, not to worry.
Then the route ends in the same city of Andalnes, about 5-10 minutes walking from where we took the bus.
I catalog the route as Moderate, since it has a couple of steps that you have to climb. It is not complicated, but you have to take it into account if you are very apprehensive or suffer from vertigo. In another case, it is done without problem. The route is very popular and you will find a lot of people doing it.
Actually the route has two possibilities. The one I put here is the classic one. There is another simpler one (that they denominate familiar route), denominated Romsdalseggen via Hognosa. You can pick up a brochure at the train / bus station, which explains a bit both.
The route is very popular. If you get a sunny day, a lot of people do it, but it does not matter. It is essential if you like the mountain and you walk around the area. The views are impressive, of the glacial valleys and the fjord.

Entendido, mil gracias !
Anímate y disfruta la ruta.
