Loop trail from Cabana Plaiul Foii passing through:
- Padina peak (4.4 km)
- ascutit peak(5.5 km)
- Pásztor csúcs (8.3 km)
- Refugiul Șaua Grindului (8.7 km)
This route is challenging and rewarding.much of the trail is not maintained, loose scree both up and down, scrambling and climbing required both up and down and use of chains required. Full attention required at all times including along the ridge.
I’ve included my stats as a guide to show moving time.Allow a full day for this route. Other route options could’ve explored there are many.
One of the most challenging days and NOT for children or less adventurous types.
