Itinerary description
This walk starts from the Urbanisation of Lauro Golf on Avenida Genereal Cafferena. Walk along the Palm lined avenue until you cross the A404 and then go alongside the driving range. Take the track that runs alongside the Golf Course which has a gentle incline towards the forest.
When you reach the mouth of the mine that is hidden, it is necessary to climb the spoil bank to find it. Remember to bring a torch as the mine goes back quite a way and is very dark.
For those a little more adventurous there is also another mine higher up the bank, that can be explored. We will take a break by the mines, to allow the adventurous ones to go exploring.
The route back crosses the Arroyo del Madroño and through the woods until you reach the Urbanisation Buena Vista. Carefully cross the A404 and onto the Palm lined avenues of Lauro Golf and back to the start.
For those that would like a drink after the walk, you can pop into bar La Risa, which is on the golf complex.
