Itinerary description
This trail is approximately 4 km hiking length (track-length inadvertently includes part of the access road). It is a nice contrast to the level trails in the salmon spawning grounds along the Adams River. The trail is forested and follows a fast-flowing mountain stream with a nice waterfall viewpoint. Historical logging activity gives the Flume Trail its name, and the old logging relics are signposted with interpretive descriptions along the trail.
This track was done clockwise and includes a steep climb up a switchback section. Going counter-clockwise would reduce the length of steep climbs.

These bushes have very unpleasant thorns in their stems and under the leaves, and have low curves tems that are easy to trip on, hence the name Devil's Club.

Switchbacks
This is a relatively long steep to moderate climb if going clockwise. It can be avoided by going counter-clockwise.
