Itinerary description

High5 Rock forest Trail

Takes your past the trout pond, rolling grassy Highland hills with magnificent vistas for miles on end, through the famous Rock forest where the movie "The Ghost and the darkness" (with Val Kilmer & Michael Douglas) was shot, then views of the Komati River and Bankspruit valley, up to Yellow wood passage then through Golden gorge, Canyon Cute and Jacuzzi falls.

Bailout = 30 min to Candlewood. Standard trail 1.5 hours to Candlewood and beautiful passing Albert's falls, Tree fern alley, Uitkomst waterfall view, Golden Gorge, Canyon Cute and Jacuzzi falls. DO IT if you can, it's worth it!
