Itinerary description

Great walk on the Cañada Real. Totally flat. Even in late summer, with brown fields and no flowers, it was a good day on the Camino Torres.

Total arrow confusion. But at least there’s a Santiago shell!

I am pretty sure that these rocks are indicators of the width of the Cañada Real. If I look closely, I can always see a pair on the other side of this broad path.

This arrow is pointing in the direction I’ve just come from. I read something about this being the route that Saint Francis of Assisi took when returning home from the Camino. But I will have to check that out.

Heads up! This arrow does not mean go through the gate. Stay to the pass on the right. If you see my tracks you’ll see how I went wrong.

But it turns out that if I had kept going through the finca a little more, I would have come to the open gate that is shown in this picture and could have easily cut back to the trail. If I had only gone another 20 m!
