Itinerary description
This route take a you up to Robinson via Hassness, works around the fell to meet the Buttermere path, drops down to Newlands and then follows a path under and over Dalehead Crags, ending at Honister Pass. The stream crossing en route to Dale Head was difficult due to recent heavy rainfall and it’s advisable to cross as soon as safely possible so as to avoid a steep slog up grass before reaching the path toward Dale Head.
