Itinerary description
A beautiful hike from Bear Lake to the Loch. On the way up I passed Alberta Falls. I tried to go all the way to Sky Pond but arriving to Timberline falls there was a stretch of few hundred yards covered with ice. The combination of steep elevation and lack of poles or spikes for my boots made me turn around. This was in late June so be prepared with this kind of gear even in summer. On the way down I visited Lake Haiyaha and the Dream lake.
