Itinerary description
Starting at the Riverbend Visitor Center, we will hike the Potomac Heritage Trail for about 2.5 miles. There are few hills for them to have fun but nothing strenuous. We will enjoy the views of the river on our way to Watkins Island Overlook where we will have our snack. We will trace our steps back to the visitor center. For those with extra energy, there is an additional 1.1miles via Follow the Hollows Trail.
