Itinerary description

A brief exploration of the newly opened Rifle Range Park, and then a cross-MacRitchie hike to Windsor Park, cutting through the central water catchment area. There is still more to explore in Rifle Range park but this time was focused on doing the through trail, again. It's relatively uneven going in MacRichie, but much easier going in Rifle Range (generally, boardwalks). A pleasant, if slightly tiring, trek across jungle terrain.

Waypoints

Beauty World overhead bridge

Up on the 4th floor of Beauty World, the overhead bridge crosses the busy Bukit Timah road. There is a gate barring the way, which doesn't open until 7 am (on the dot!). For those who prefer an earlier access, it probably is better to get off at King Albert Park MRT and walk along the rail corridor before turning into the main Rifle Range visitor centre.
