Lovely walk more than a trek but some short sharp climbs in the town

Lovely walk as apposed to a hike though a couple short sharp climbs in the town, can be a bit sloppy underfoot especially on the far bank of the river (on the way back) - excellent way to spend an afternoon. FYI a few public toilets on route but at the time of writing you need a 20p piece to get in them - free toilets at the old Richmond station.
