Itinerary description

This is a nice walk along rice terraces between Ping’an and Jinjiang , up and down hill and with several lookouts. As we went there in summer they were green, while in autumn they turn yellow and in winter brown. Even though at the lookouts we met many other tourists, on the paths there were very few, especially after the second waypoint. The route goes through some villages where you can buy souvenirs and snacks. We also stopped to have lunch in a local restaurant (marked as the “picnic” waypoint).

Esta ruta pasa por varias terrazas de arroz entre Ping’an y Jinjiang. Tiene algunas subidas (y bajadas) y varios miradores que suelen estar llenos de turistas, mientras en el sendero no había apenas caminantes, sobre todo después del punto marcado en el mapa como segunda “panorámica”. En verano los campos de arroz son verdes, en otoño se vuelven amarillos y en invierno marrones. La ruta pasa por varias aldeas donde se pueden comprar aperitivos y recuerdos. Paramos en un restaurante en el camino para comer, marcado en el mapa como “picnic”.
