Itinerary description
This walk takes you down the Rhymney Valley from Rhymney Railway station to Caerphilly railway station. It is a mixture of walking along disused railway lines; wooded, country parks created from old coal mining works, roads, riverside paths and farmland. There is historic interest at the Winding House museum at New Tredegar, and you pass numerous pubs etc..
