Itinerary description
3.2.2019 - Pen Y Garn Goch 487m, Crugiau Merched 462m and Rhos Ymryson 327m.
Today was a West Wales sprint to get in three marilyns before storm Freya comes in and beats our butts.
Rhos Ymryson: As we made our way to the last one of the day Freya was well on its way and it was blowing a good one with lots of rain. This however was just going to be a short one! We found a very ample lay-by again just opposite the start on the B4338 a couple of kilometres west of the village of Gorsgoch.
I didn’t like this one as it was private land but there seemed no other way to do it. Basically just follow the GPX trail and make your own way avoiding fences and don’t disturb any animals. You can’t get to the top proper as it is fenced off covered reservoir but you can walk all the way around it. This I did and made my way back to the van.
Route Summary: Hardly worth getting out of bed for.
