Itinerary description

A fairly tough hike where a rope will be required to traverse the Reynolds Gorge in two locations together with bush bashing along the way.

Not recommended for inexperienced Hikers.

Short summary: (Time)
1/3 Mixed bushbash with VERY steep up/down sections.
1/3 Reynolds Creek, the fun part (rope required).
1/3 Hike bushbash back to car. Not as tough as the bushbash in.

Note: GPS can be a little off in places but follow carefully to avoid some of the deeper gullies.

hi if you do this in reverse, and slide down the ascents, would this be possible and thus not need ropes?

    Sorry for the slow response.
Cannot be done in reverse as it's impossible to climb up the two small Waterfalls.

I meant that you do the track counter clockwise and slide down the two waterfalls?

My trail is clockwise down the two waterfalls (cannot be done any other way).

PS: Unfortunately links doesn't work and to messy to retype manually.

Be my guest - your risk to take.

(last visit), my friend jumped down, he didn't wait for the rope, he was OK.
I think it's not worth the risk. You never know in the water below.

What section of your trail did you need to start using rope? Once you're up through the saddle and down at Reynolds creek?

I use a rope down the two small waterfalls (but can be done without - but not recommended).

    Hi,
I hope you’re still answering comments here.
How long does the rope need to be?

Doesn't need to be too long. I usually take a 5mtr rope (doubled up so it's looped around a safe anchor point)
