The hike is located southwest of the capital Prague in the center of the Czech Republic.
We start from Revnice train station, which is about 35 minutes by train from the main train station in Prague. Initially, we move along a narrow bank path along the Berounka a tributary of the Vltava. We cross the river and arrive in Hlasna Treban. Continue on a ridge probably to the famous castle of the Czech Republic, the castle Karlstejn. The castle is also known as Czech "Neuschwanstein". Unfortunately, the view is not as exposed as in the German fairytale castle. Around the castle there are numerous souvenir shops and restaurants.
The way back goes partly through dense forest and over open field in a beautiful landscape.
