Itinerary description
A trail from MTR metro station to giant Buddha following the cable cars emergency rescue road.
Upon reaching the top you can either go back down following the same path, take down a local public bus (fare is around 27 HKD) or take a 360 gondola down (this is expensive).
As to the trail difficulty, it is between moderate and difficult. The trail has all the time a path (stone or wood) so this is great. However sometimes there are steep ascends/descends as well as some parts where there are dangerous pathways with no railing and a slope next to it, easy to fall. This is why I would go with the “difficult” rating, in my opinion not the choice for kids or people who do not like sharp ascends/tend to fall down where no railing.
Have fun!
