Itinerary description
Hikking to the top of the famous "lion king's stone"
From the side of table mountain that is accessible by Camps bay, we started at the neighborhood of Bakoven.
There is a very obvious road and then you must be ready to follow the piles of stones indicating the trail.
This is on the waypoint and you must leave the wide road to take the left .
In that moment adventure begins.
It's like climbing a stair full of steps
Soon you will be under the wall and you will continue up to a cut where the walls will be left on your right.
At the top, if any intersection, we follow always the right.
You will pass wooden bridges and then the stone is on the right
There's not a clear sign or indication.
Aorry, unfortunately I only recorded the way back, from a nice picnic spot a few meters above the point where we left the trail to see the stone and take amazing pictures
We took 45 minutes to climb and 1h 10' to walk down.
It may take a little bit longer if you are doing it more relaxed and chilled
