Itinerary description
The trip to Reinebringen offers a guarantee of both fantastic views, but also sweat on the forehead.
The trip starts from the center of Reine and goes along the E10 and onto the old road on the outside of the tunnel. Follow this until you reach the starting point. The actual trip up to Reinebringen is a stone-laid "sherpa staircase". It goes up - without breaks. Please note that the stairs are not finished all the way to the top. Here is a short section on a very worn path with many loose stones in the path. Be extremely careful and watch out for loose stones.
We do not recommend the trip for families. Contact the tourist information at Reine for tips on more family-friendly trips.
We also point out that it is not allowed to camp either on Reinebringen or in the surrounding area.
