Itinerary description
The route to the peak of La Mira ("the view") in Sierra the Gredos.
The hike starts from parking area, about 2km after village of Guisando. The path is very well signposted and visible, and follows the valley. Until the refuge (6,1km, 1970m), I had a fair weather and good visibility, but from this point the clouds and fog got exetremly dense! Also the snow cover became quite thick. I have tried to continue to the peak, but after about 1km and 200m ascent, I gave up as I had no equipment with me (no crampons) and was alone. The return done exactly the same path.
Level easy becasue the path is easy until refuge, later I had to turn around and go back :-/
