Itinerary description
Loop trail from Fornalutx passing through:
- Coll de sa Coma des Ases (0.7 km)
- Font d'Enmig (1.1 km)
- Pas Llis (2.5 km)
- Refugi Tossals Verds (4.8 km)
- Pou De Sa Bassola (6.9 km)
- Puig Tossals Verds (8.9 km)
- Puig de Sa Font (11.1 km)
Note that the section heading up and over Puig Tossal Verds is quite challenging. Firstly it is not clear where to leave the path on the left to begin the ascent, so you have to use the GPS. Then you can follow the cairns most of the way up. But it is tricky to see the cairns and the terrain is tricky all the way up. From picking through the forest lower down, to going over rocks higher up.
On the other side of the summit it's more of the same uneven terrain and tricky to follow the route, with no clear paths or cairns.
I suggest starting reasonably early so you have time to take your time up and over Puig Tossal Verds and over the other side, so you don't need to rush.
It's really nice up on the summit area though - very few people and wonderful views.
