Itinerary description
If you want to test your endurance, this hike will test it with 9.34 miles and 2600 elevation gain.
The hike starts out near Reeves Visitor Center on 7 Lakes Drive in Harriman State Park using the Pine Meadow trail that leaves the parking lot from the right side. Approximately 1000 ft, the Pine Meadow trail intersects with the 7 Hills trail.The hike continue by using the 7 Hills trail ( which is denoted by blue and while trail marker ) all the way to TMI ( 5.25 miles ). Along the way, there are great views points of the surrounding areas.
Once at the TMI, turn left and head down to Stony Brook. At Stony Brook, the TMI and the HTS trail intersects. Take a left on the HTS and take it all the way back up Diamond Mt to the intersection of 7 Hills trail. Make a right onto 7 Hills trail to the Tower trail which is denoted by a yellow marker. Take the Tower trail all the down to the Pine Meadow trail.
Once at the Pine Meadow, make a right and take it all the way back to the parking lot.
