Itinerary description
This particular trail starts from the section of the Sundown National Park that is accessible by conventional vehicles. The trial start following the four-wheel drive track up the hill towards Red Rock Gorge. The track is is readily accessable to hikers.
Once reaching the top of Sundown you take the red rock trail track down to the car park. The gorge trail starts from the car park down to the gorge about 200 m from the car park.
The return trip follows a much more degraded four-wheel drive track back to the starting point. This track can require at times for you to wade through water.
