Itinerary description
Ravdoúcha - Cape Sideris - Agia Marina chapel.
The first half of the route is a long winding road from the parking lot at the cemetery down to the beach. Gorgeous views all along the path with several benches along the way for stopping and having a picnic. This path is not for you if you really prefer paths to narrow roads. Having said that, we liked the hike.
The path along the beach is a bit tricky at times with large rocks and the like.
The half way point of the route is at the beach next to the Waves on the Rock taverna. If you time your route right, you can have lunch by the shade of the trees at the taverna prior to the second half.
The walk up the rocky path is somewhat technical. The path is steep and there are loose rocks most of the way. If you're not in shape or are afraid of very steep gravel paths, there might be a less steep path from the taverna back to the parking lot.
