Itinerary description

Another of the great attractions of Ella is the visit to Ravana Falls, waterfalls and waterfalls that we already saw from afar from the summit of Little Adam's Peak. We took advantage of our departure from Ella to the south to stop here and enjoy the water!
START
We will have the beginning of the route at the height of the road that heads south from Ella. After several kilometers, on the right and coinciding with several local stands, we will have Ravana Falls.
DESCRIPTION
We left the tuk tuk parked on the same road and walked towards the curve where Ravana Falls is located, leaving numerous vehicles and small shops selling fruit, vegetables and drinks on both sides of the road.
Already at the bend, we can hear and see the group of waterfalls of Ravana Falls. Before entering them, we approach a kind of viewpoint from where we get the most complete view of Ravana Falls. Many people in the area, so we must wait our turn to take a photo.
After visiting the viewpoint, we retraced the curve in the road and turned off towards Ravana Falls. Between rocks and the passage of other people, we go deeper, overcoming several pools and small waterfalls that the locals enjoy, even to shower!
In a few minutes, we reached the base of Ravana Falls, where we found a lot of visitors bathing in the pool into which the waterfall falls. Ravana Falls is a group of spectacular waterfalls several meters high. A waterfall located in a spectacular place! A few photos and we conclude the visit.
We retrace our way until we reach the road, always enjoying the sound of the water.
Back on the road, all that remains is to travel the few meters that separate us from the tuk tuk, ending the route.
CONCLUSION
Ravana Falls are the most famous waterfalls in Ella. Several waterfalls located in a unique natural place that we do not hesitate to visit. Short route to enjoy its viewpoint and the large number of pools it offers, some ideal for taking a bath!
