Rathdrum to Clara Bridge by Claravale Nature Reserve. Round trip route.

The route leaves the main street of Rathdrum and heads into the Clara Valley by road.

Once there, the track meanders along the path established for the route and other secondary forest roads parallel to the Abonmare river. The end of the route is at the Clara bridge, where there is a green area where you can replenish energy and rest for a while.

You are accompanied by abundant woodland vegetation, especially oaks, and a dense undergrowth.

The paths are generally fine gravel. You walk comfortably through them.

The landscape is mountainous and a river runs through the valley that carries a significant flow this April.

It is a route without noise, with shade, very relaxing and not demanding at all.
