Itinerary description

Green Mountains to old 'Rat a Tat' hut site and return via same route of echo point. Beautiful overnight walk with some off track feeling to it. Most of the track beyond echo point campsite is over grown with a average foot pad and tree falls to test your skills if mapping.

Camp site is isolated and beautiful. Creek was dry but 30m down stream was running waterfall for collection.

Completed this walk last weekend. Camped overnight at Rat-a-Tat. Easy enough walk. This GPX file was excellent. Remember to book on the QPWS website.

Thanks Swellerfungus, glad you enjoyed it and the gpx file helped. It can get pretty thick as I can remember.

    Hi Lukeyglasso
I am horrible with navigation. Do you think if I follow this route I can successfully reach the destination both ways? :/ Thank you.
