Itinerary description

This is a fantastic, easy walk (although 15 kms) on forest tracks and along a pretty river, with plenty of places to stop for a picnic near the waterfalls.

I left Rascafria at 07:30 in the middle of June and it was shady for virtually all of the walk to the waterfall, and mostly shady (80% shade) for the return route. (We were in a heatwave and I left early because the temperature later was 33 degrees).

i saw one deer, two beautiful horses, LOTS of cows, and one friendly mountain biker.
