Hike to the mythical Adam's Peak (Adam's Peak - 2243m) to enjoy the sunrise. Climb in 2h15 of some 5000 steps. Wait in the cold, and then downhill.
The peak has a footprint at the top. This imprint is attributed to Adam by Christians and Muslims, Buddha for Buddhists, and Shiva for Hindus.
During the climb, we meet pilgrims of all ages, in a state of interlocking fatigue.
The climb is a unique experience, and the observation of the sunrise, fabulous.
