Planning to do this one next week. Yes, the weather is already very hot, not sure if that is a good idea to do a full loop...
Is the most beautiful part at the spectrum place, or there is more to it when hiked further ahead?
Spectrum is the beautiful part but looks more beautiful in pictures. Doing loop is hardworking and rewarding to see few villages of Oman. We went to Oman Border and from the ridge came down gradually. Need to descend from two wadis changing the route as there are no clear trails. It is mostly loose rocks and better if you carry gloves with you and minimum 4 to 5 liters of water. It is not difficult but just need to find the way to come down. I ranked it difficult, do that only serious people try to do it.
