Itinerary description
Rainbow Canyon at Whitewater Preserve. About 7.5 miles in and out, 1100 ft elevation but just a steady climb no steep hills. This hike we were lucky enough to see 6 big horn sheep. The water flow was much more than the last time we did this hike so we couldn't climb the ladder or the rebar hoops at the top. Well we could have but we would get very wet. Lots of creek crossings because of the higher water flow. Amazing rainbow rocks. I missed the waypoint for the 1st one but they are easy to picket. Make sure you go on both sides of the one I marked Big Rainbow.
