Itinerary description
Another spectacular exploratory circuit at Glen Rock Regional Park. This one includes 1 km of Rain forest walking. The rest is beautiful open Eucalypt forest typical of the area. I have rated this one as only 'Experts only' as the the ascent (North ridge) requires an exposed scramble over loose ground to bypass a bluff towards the top (we scrambled around to the South). A rope belay is advised. The rain forest is slower but with no major obstacles. Descent is straight forward as long as you watch the GPS and avoid false ridges. We rode the first and last 3 km on bikes.
