It is mandatory to hire a Grab and agree the ringgits to wait for you and bring back to Kota Kinabalu. We were lucky with Hendry. Also with those who run the Rafflesia Information Centre, today Wanisah and Kenny guided us. There was only this flower, they had to take the car to get closer. The other option to see rafflesia was to have gone to the north of Borneo and spend +6 hours by car instead of +3 (round trip). It had been open one day out of the seven that it lasts, before opening yesterday it had been closed for half a year. At the end they made us take off our shoes in case we had leeches😅
