Initially we had planned another walk but the heavy downpours in Slovenia the previous week forced us to do this walk through the valley of the Sava River, a tributary of the Danube which also passes through Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia.
The walk leaves from the medieval town of Radovljica, goes up to the viewpoint of Lovska koča Talež, where there is a small restaurant, and ends up at Lake Bled, one of the most visited lakes in Slovenia. When we arrive, we go around the lake (about 7 km) and complete the stage with a swim to the middle island where there is a small church (about 700 m in total).
