Itinerary description
Maja Raba e Ducajve is the summit just above Ducaj on the north side. The trailhead is at Ducaj 760m altitude. There is unpaved road which start from Ducaj and continue on the east direction through the forest. At roughly 5.5km from the trailhead we turned left and proceeded up through the road. At 6.1km we cut short up the hill till the deforestation area. At this point there is no more any trail. We continued up but you can turn right and proceed up through the Fagus forest. After this section we walked uphill on the right side. This section of the hike has an average slope of 31%. I would follow the descending path which is shorter. During the winter hike one should be very careful as there are some big holes which should be filled with snow.
At 8.3 km we reached the first ridge, just 200m from the summit. On the winter hike with snow here should be dangerous as the slope is high and you can go down.
