Itinerary description
Beautiful walk to the upper Krka falls and back, with stunning views of the Krka gorge, valley and falls (the latter being more idyllic than spectacular). The route is marked by waterfall signs and it is virtually impossible to go wrong. On the way back we took an alternative route. At km 12.2, make sure to take the right path, though, as what seems to be the right path (the left one) is, in reality, a dry rainwater bed (we took this wrong path and had to undertake quite a steep climb to the right path once we found out). The path to take is the one that leads slightly uphill to the right (not the u-turn, mind you). We actually enjoyed the hike more than the visit to the upper falls. The walk is moderately difficult (70p, 17,44km, 572m(+), 579m(-) & 7,6%/47%(+) according to IBP), and only the ascent to the viewing point at the falls can be called technical.

Some great scenery and great autumn colours when we were there. for the most part the trail is only moderate but the surface is loose cobbles in places so some care is needed.
