Itinerary description
We descended into the huge wadi bed strewn with brush. There is a football field in the middle. The wadi joins the sea after 1 km. At the beach we turned north. Amazing blue of Persian Gulf on the right. The trail continues to Sifah, a coastal town near Muscat. But we walked another 1 km and returned. On the way back we went straight towards Quriyat mangroves. From a plateau near the new houses you get a nice panorma of Quriyat oasis. You can watch migratory birds like flamingos in the wetlands.
