Itinerary description
Flat, easy walk on good paths and local roadways with very little traffic
Plenty of natural interest. Initial walk along edge of golf course leading to the first of two bird hides and later a comorant and stork rookery. Archaeological remains of salt tanks in Roman times. Extensive salt pans in use today evidenced by two collosal piles of salt.
The car park start of the walk is big, plenty of spaces and free in February. Later in year there are charges and I imagine it will be busy.
NB. Have had problems downloading photos, a lot missing and others mixed up. Sorry
