Itinerary description
If you are staying at Quinta De S. Bernardo this is a great hike to see local area. It starts through the vineyard of the Quinta and then up to Mesão Frio town. From there it climbs to a viewing point that gives fantastic views of the river and valley. You then start the downward descent, walking past several beautiful vineyards and Quintas. When you reach Barqueiros there is a small cafe with a few plastic tables outside. The perfect place for a cold beer. The final stretch of the hike is with the river to your right and absolutely gorgeous views all the way back to the Quinta.
