Itinerary description
[Note: total distance out&back is around 4km. Recorded track only starts half way, above the orchards.]
Queen Victoria memorial above Karimabad overs great views over the Hunza valley and towards Ultar peak. The hike is a great option for a quick and sporty hike starting directly from Karimabad. If you are not afraid of heights, you can continue along the water channel to reach Ultar base camp. The memorial itself is not interesting.
(When climbing from the dirt road leading out of the village, you can also stay more to the right/east, crossing the orchards until you reach a nice viewpoint over the village and the fort. From there, cross over to the trail to the memorial by following the small water channel.)
